An Important Message from Society Chairman Tim Lee
As you are aware from the last Newsletter, I am stepping down as Chair of the Society from the end of September. We are seeking someone to take on this role which mainly consists of chairing 3 or 4 meetings per year and consolidating the reports from the 5 separate groups within the Society.
If you feel that you cannot take on this role yourself but can suggest a suitable candidate for the role please advise myself and Robert Bogin in confidence so that we can make further discreet enquiries. The person would need to have an interest in and commitment to matters affecting the community such as Green Spaces, Planning and Transport. This role would ideally be supported by a Vice Chair, which is also a position than needs to be filled.
The Society cannot function without a Chairperson so your response would be greatly appreciated.
